My route today was part of King Charles coastal path challenge the full route was circa 26m but I was on a tight deadline. I figured I’d aim for 20 and with a fair wind might stretch it out.
I hadn’t appreciated the hills, overgrown paths and it was warm I was running out of water and I was a lot slower than I expected. I had to call it a day at 16m, clocked 17 finding my lift home.
However I absolutely loved it all. I’ll finish it in a couple of weeks.

After a bad July with 8 lousy miles, I'm finally able to run a bit again. I'm probably not going to make it to 100 miles but 100k (62.1 mi) may be doable.
On 24 miles on 11 August, ⅓ of the month is over, I've got more than ⅓ of the target mileage 🙂
