Around Balito. It is lumpy everywhere on the bike from where I am but as I say apart from them tourists I can find 4 flatish gravel kms so enough for me to tap the miles out around the family time.

Mr Ness and I have booked to stay on Gran Canaria for a month early next year. I'm hoping to be able to sort out a route in the maspalomas area that will be good for early morning runs. 🤞It's a few years since we stayed in that area but last time I think I ran from my hotel down to the lighthouse and back quite regularly.

I'm thinking so, GG. And I'm firmly convinced that part of Mr Ness' cycles of depression are strongly affected by the winter weather. Almost in a sort of SAD type way. If it does make a difference I'm hoping we can do have a month away like that each winter.

You may recall my dad having an anxiety / depression attack earlier this year he was doing better on the sunny days and less so on dark damp days I did say this to him and he started noting it and it was linked no got him a SAD light for his birthday don’t know if he’s used it as his mood has massively improved now they’ve got medication sorted but it gave him confidence that he wasn’t necessarily getting worse. And I’d you can have a month of winter shine def do it.
