Can I join in? I’ve done 100 miles the last two months as part of a virtual event, have two more months to go and would like to keep going afterwards - but I’m afraid natural idleness will kick in without a motivator. Currently on 9.3/100. |

Still icy underfoot here, too: Forecast to rise to 4 degrees tomorrow (briefly), hopefully that'll help shift it. It's been like this now since 28th! |

Crickey! There was loads of snow here last night when I went to bed I could see people playing out in it on the bit of my cul de sac I can see from my bedroom window. It rained this morning though and all the snow was washed away.

Sunny and no frost here (just NW of London). I'm a bit envious of the snow, it looks gorgeous! 11 miles this morning including some mud to bring up 19.5/100. Can anyone help with a slightly numpty shoe question please, or point me to a good thread to ask? I'm very much a road runner but have found some off-road places that I want to explore. They're all full of mud and my road shoes definitely aren't coping! If I got trail shoes but had to run two or three miles on road to get to/from the trails, would that be okay or should I be looking for something more hybrid? I normally run in Brooks so as the local running shops are closed in tier 4, would look there first as I've never had any problems with fit. |
