48.2/100 after this morning’s run.

Our club normally does a series of short races in the summer - 1 mile, 2 mile, 3 mile and 4 mile. Obviously we can’t do this at the moment (first race was supposed to be this month), so our club captain has come up with the idea of us doing the distances virtually, and he’ll post a lead board based on the cumulative time - so, deadline to do the 1 mile is 8pm tonight, deadline for 2 mile is next Friday evening, etc. I went out and did my attempt on a one mile course we use for a different 1 mile race. Managed 7:05, had hoped I could manage sub-7 even on current fitness, but should have gone earlier, as I did have to change course to avoid people a few times, and had to go onto the grass at one point.

A very hot 8 miles before lunch. Never seen so many people on the golf course and it's closed! Plenty of space though.

Good morning, all. Nice to see people’s totals are building up. I did my ‘fake parkrun’ early this morning to avoid potential course congestion! 😜 Takes me to 41.7 miles this month.

Excellent mileage, Paul.

Hope it isn’t sciatica, Minnie Mad. Take care x

9.7 miles this morning takes me to 53/100. Went out at 7 rather than 6 and it was like Piccadilly Circus. Normally I see no one. Today 3 off road bikes, 3 road bikes, 3 runners and 8 walkers.
