Due to an achilles issue I am behind the line but there is still over 11 months to go. I do hope to reach another target of 100 miles this month but 125 will be too much.

Makes sense to be care careful so you don't have further achilles problems.

mr d
as per you FF I had a collision whilst not looking where I was going whilst walking the dog and bruised my ribs on Tuesday. Still painful, but improving, reckon it will be 10 days before I am back. Pity as I had managed my first club session in months the week before.

Good running the rest of you.

Oh dear mr d I hope you recover quickly. I'm now unsure if it was my achilles as I only had a week out and now seem to be ok, an occasional ache but not debilitating, thank heavens. Touching 100 miles for the month so not as far off as I thought I would be. Hopefully about 8 miles on Tuesday.

Ouch Mr d! Hope you're back and running again soon

140 for this month which is about average for me when I'm not injured or unwell (!). Currently keeping a friend company on longer runs who's training for London.

Sounds nasty, mr d. Hope you recover quickly. I finish the month on 135. Think that might be my best January total ever! Pleased with that. :)

Totally given up on the marathon training plan I had planned as work and the cba's got the better of me.
After having a week off with I assumed an achilles issue all is now well and I finish a bit below the line on 109.1

I'm still vacillating between this and the 2000 thread, but I'd rather report I'm 21 km up on here :)
