4 months later and I finally read this! It was the first book I'd read on my new paperwhite kindle.
Overall I enjoyed it. I liked that it was pretty easy read and not overly-long so it didn't feel like it was pushing the point. I found myself telling my OH about funny/ interesting bits of the story which is normally a good indication I'm enjoying it. I too was intrigued throughout whether it was a breakdown or not. I was also happy it made me listen to Clair de Lune. The list at the end was too long and a bit pretentious, but Leonardo Da Vinci made me laugh too.

Finally finished this myself the other day and I really enjoyed it. I thought the whole list thing was actually quite nice, and whilst some of it was a little trite, I could imagine something like that making a difference to a troubled teenager.

My two young teenage boys have just finished this and thought it was very clever. Which probably explains why I didn't like it at all

I know what you mean, pesto. It was primarily marketed to a YA readership and I think that was a good move by the publisher.
Not sure who, if anybody in particular, Matt Haig was writing for.

You should not feed your dog peanut butter, it is not good for them.
