Midnight Sun Marathon.
Taking photo's, chatting and stopping to wave at a webcam. Walked drink stations, alternating water and electrolyte drinks. Cool on run towards the airport alongside the coast. Ran a bit with Clare and Gemma who ran the half.
Started at the back which was a mistake due to congestion.

Brilliant run. Pace is very strong right to the end!

Tbh I felt I could continue further, that's possibly because I hadn't raced it and kept stopping to take photos and chatting to many people. Imo it's a race not to be raced but enjoy the views and midnight sun.
