Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

funkin If positive splits are a good thing, then I'm a champion! This is another way of saying the second half was tougher than the first!

Heavyweight Did this in 56 minutes last year - looking for 3 minute improvement this year. The long drag up the hill for the last 3km is a real lung buster. **** Update **** Really pleased with my time & felt comfortable all the way round. Glorious weather - a real 'good to be alive' morning!!

Kew 1. 45 min slower than last year - not as bad as I thought though. 3rd year run on the trot and 1st year I've had to walk up the hill!

Mr Chops Did this once before in 2003. One of my worst ever 10k times. As far as I can recall it was very uphill in the later half. Definitely NOT a PB course!! ==== Better than my 2003 race anyway. Lots of walking over the last 3k but when I was running it was often faster than those around me who were pacing themselves to run the whole hill.

The Outlaw Fast downhill first half (2K@7:00, 5K@ 17:55). Hard second half with 2 long hills. The final hill was continuous from 7K to near the finish - the toughest hill I have ever faced in any race! Time irrelevant on such a course - I ran second half 2:49 slower than first half. Held position well after first 1k and managed to pass several runners in final 2K. Delighted to win V50!
