About this parkrun

Undulating course on a mixture of surfaces , starting on tarmac but a grass section & a muddy path by the lake definitely wear shoes with some grip in winter , parking cafe & toilets all near the start.

Parked about half a mile to avoid the parking charge, most streets are residents only.
Up and down before a lap of the lake and then the return. Surprisingly hilly in the end, could be muddy around the lake in the winter.

This was a stunning parkrun, absolutely loved it. Not a flat one, the course contains a few ups and downs. I imagine it'll be a lot tougher in winter, I did it in August on a sunny day and it was lush.

Mix of tarmac, gravel & compact earth tracks. Up path to hall, turn past, lap around a lake, back around in front of the hall & return down path to finish. Lovely park. Car parking is by phone or App only & a pain to log. Nice cafe, card only.

Soggy parkrun in depths of winter but good one all the same. Some hills to overcome but the sight of a herd of deer 🦌 on a golf course green makes you forget the mud and puddles.

Amazing course. Undulating. But what goes up comes down so fast down hill finish. Saw a deer 🦌 with horns
