krusty Struggled on this one due I think to the excesses over Christmas, legs felt heavy, but happy with my time overall. First time I've done this one, nice and fairly flattish, will be back next year.

Pinchi As always a well organsed race, although the start was a bit crowded with a lot of slower runners at the front. Time was a bit disappointing but given the preparation probably to be expected and a time I would have been happy with last year.

Seb09 Glad to get a sub 50 before the year's out, did'nt feel 100% to start with, think the 2 days over xmas i may have overdone it a little.Felt slow and sluggish all the way round and first time in a race thoght i would have to walk but soon passed.Nice course, fairly flat but there are a couple of incline's,the last one on the bend took the wind out of my sail's.Glad to see the finish line.Nice t-shirt and momento to go home with.Pleased with this event, maybe next year a bit more prep and less drink!!!

Siggers Not quite where I wanted to be, but still pleased as there is more to come.
Slightly problematic start to the race with too many slower runners mixing it up at the front of the field, possibly due to people coming to the start late and a little lack of organisation, apart from that the rest of the organisation and the whole race was great. Not quite as flat as is made out, a couple of inclines, not too steep but dragged out a little, which if you are carrying excess poundage like me then it tends to drag you down a bit.
Just outside the predicted time, at half way I thought I was going to be under 45, but not quite there, still gives an early target for next year.

The Husky Pleased with my time despite having a rotton cold and suffering the excesses of christmas. Feel i can go alot faster as my early pace felt very comfortable. Struggled towards the end due to my cold and a hilly part of the course between 5 and 6 miles.

The Juicer This is gonna be rubbish!!! UPDATE: Well glad to say I wasn't quite as rubbish as I thought I would be. My original prediction had been 53.30, but after a month on my sick bed I thought I'd get nowhere near. Not all that far off that original prediction. I suffered, and hated it though!! 10ks are so hard. And I'd completely forgotten how to run them sensibly... after running the first 2 miles in 16.10 I died, and ran the rest in around 9 min miles. Big thanks to Dale the Snail for his company in the 2nd half of the race.... it really helped, I'm just sorry I couldn't talk all that much, and when I did I did nothing but complain ;-)
