About this parkrun
Single lap course mainly on sheep pastures, with some sections of farm tracks. Good parking , toilets & a nice cafe for a cuppa & a bacon sarnie afterwards. Probably advise trail shoes during the winter months & wet weather but road shoes OK when drywAckie Racer 16th Sep 2023
Lovely route, one lap 😀

Lovely, basically flat single lap course on trails and grass. Definitely trail shoes in November. Plenty of free parking and toilets available before the run. Didn't have time to go to the cafe but it looked good from outside.

Muddy and standing water all the way round (Feb '24). Just my thing!

Bog Snorkelling in places, I was sinking quite deep into the mud!

Easy parking with 2 min walk to start. Lots of fields and mud in winter. Prepare for a slow time!

I did it on a sunny, dry day and I loved it but it's a tough run. Gorgeous venue, sheep on the course. Excellent cafe after. Would recommend but I can't say I would be excited to run it on a wet day as lots on grass and sheep fields.

Glad I did this one in summer as I am sure it gets very muddy when wet. One lap course with grass and farm tracks and sheep. Very friendly parkrun and I was even there for SingySongySaturday!

It's my regular haunt. Can be *very* wet and boggy in winter. Flat, but not a fast course even when the ground is dry. Nice views of Snape castle and scenic all the way round, but do pop into the cafe for the lovely views into the arboretum itself.
