Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

CR1970 Very pleased to get under 50mins as I have had a really bad cold for the last 10 days and was in two minds about even doing it. Not a PB but still 3 1/2 mins faster than last year. Lovely to meet SarahL at the end as well!

fraggle coming back from a back injury, so pleased *just* to be out racing. Targets (1) to finish and (2) to get under an hour. So, well chuffed to finish this hilly course in blustery very wet conditions. Good to meet SarahL and RuthB2 before and after the race.

Jonny It was never going to be a quick time after quite a high volume of miles during the last week. Quads are still a little sore. Just as in the Yateley 10k a had a bad patch at about 6km but I felt and finished strong in the last km. The hill at 8.5km didn't seem as bad as I remember it 2 years ago. Reached 5k in 20.29 (4.05, 3.59, 3.57, 4.08, 4.20) and last 5k in 21.12 (4.08, 4.20, 4.13, 4.28, 4.03).

JPK I did this in 47:10 last year. Would like to get inside 45mins.
update: I pb'd big time!!! Ideal overcast and drizzly conditions meant I could push hard without overheating. Tired after storming up the short steep hill at 8k but kept it quick until the finish.
Would rather have had a medal than the horrid and huge green t-shirt after though ;)

Kew Loved the conditions and the hill was no where near as scary as I imagined. Tired badly in the last 2 k same as at Yateley . Reasonably pleased with time but not pleased that Birdie's dad who I'd been neck and neck with all the way round managed to outsprint me at the end!
