Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

bedlam_g Found this a tough course the first couple of miles into the wind and most of the 2nd half more like xc with continous hills and on either gravel or trail. Held back at the start trying to hold 5.50ish and let the front 5 disapear into the distance in the hope they'd come back, eventually they did eventually moving into 2nd by mile 6. But clubmate Andy Joyce running for Stornoway was by then out of sight with winning in a jaw dropping 1.16. I wasn't helped by a missing marshall at a junction in the forest trails at 7 miles which had me thinking I was off course for about a mile and was just about to turn I back until I found the next arrow. Pleased enough with 2nd place feel I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment and will hopefully be more competitive as the series goes on.

dd My first Half so pleased to complete this! Was going great guns for the 1st half well ahead of target pace and then the 2nd half was off road over stony gravelly paths and steep inclines which slowed me down a bit. The scenery was stunning but the terrain was tough. Great race and very well marshalled and organised.
