Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

BrianJ Looking at all the other predictions I'll likely be near the back of the field here. But do know the route very well and have just managed 11-12 miles at 10min/mile round most of the course so am optimistically predicting a pb here.
Post race note: Weather couldn't have been any better...managed 2:13 (own Garmin time), not quite what I predicted, but still a pb :=). Think gun-finish time was about 2:13:30. Glad I earnt some points for all you gamblers!

Bul didn't like this course one bit! sold as a flat course but had tons of cr@ppy up and downs through subways. Not major hills but really annoying and couldn't get into a decent stride for the whiole race. Also had really poor mile markers. According to them I did a 6'15 3rd mile followed by a 5'09 4th!Hate that!

GD My first half for a few months - and it went surprisingly well! First time I've done Stevenage, and I must say it was very well organised. Quite scenic too, and most importantly pretty flat! A few minor inclines (mostly coming out of subways!) - look forward to coming back.

Hipster Missed a PB by 54 secs unfortunatley. This course was enjoyable, but plenty of underpass twists and turns, which made it more difficult to get into a decent running rhythm. Sorry to the people that bet on me. Next time!

SUPERWOMAN63 I have had a sore hamstring for a few weeks and although it felt a lot better this weekend l was worried l might not finish the race as it can be undulating in lots of places and l didn't want to injure myself any more than necessary. The weather was great and the marshalls as friendly and encouraging as l remembered from the year before, l did get around the course albeit a bit slower than l would have liked BUT at least l was still in one piece and added another medal to my collection.
Will l return next year for the 3rd time ( probably ).
