Dvorak Ouch. A race too far. Running 13K the night before then race a 10K properly? No can do. Though traipsing a few miles around Glasgow before probably didn't help either. Though there were tough hills I think the long downhills would balance them out effortwise. And I suppose the time wasn't that far out and I would have considered it a decent time two years ago. Lovely weather, well organised evening, good support round course for a suburban event. Also goodie bag contained a shoe bag which matches my black Fetch shirt. Which is nice.

KazzA OMG the hills, thought they would never end! Km splits varied from 4:15 to over 5 min. No idea how I managed a PB on this course but very pleased that I did :) Not sure if I will be brave enough to tackle this race again next year now I know about the hills.....but this type of run is good for my fitness so we'll see.
