RunningBob This is a very dull but fast 10. We'll see if I can stay awake. Don't bet as I can't PB by more than a few seconds even if running well. It was hot and hard work but no excuses - lack of recent training has caught up with me. I'm happy with 16th in a race like this. But time of 57:23 is more than a minute down - sorry to pb betters for rubbish effort.

Baldy Dave PB'd at a fairly hilly Eccup 10 three weeks ago and by all accounts this one is dead flat so looking to get under 75 minutes this time. UPDATE Very hot but very flat. 3 minutes off PB. Well pleased.

AllyB My recent 10k and 5k times suggest I could do this in about 72mins and since its flat, I should get a PB here. **UPDATE** knocked 4 mins of my previous 10 mile time. Very warm day for a race but the course was flat and plenty of water available so was pleased with this time.
