Lapsed Athlete I underestimated the effect my having done a postie walk prior to running this would have, a hilly race that I didn't get into for a few miles and then found a couple of the steep bits really tough. On the plus side it is a PB and it does leave a lot of scope for an even better PB at my birthday run the Eccup 10.

MudMeanderer Nice course, but not a great performance. Several times I got a stitch and my breathing really struggled, plus current lack of leg strength told on the climbs.

rf_fozzy Enjoyed this race again. Faster than last year and felt very comfortable and strong all the way round -even up Stainburn Bank. 48th place.

Slider45 Found it very hard going. Remembered the hills from last year but found them even tougher this time around. Started off at a reasonable pace but never fully recovered after the first hill and was a good bit down on last year's time, let alone my target time.
