AMBERSKYES Hadnt been well and realised pretty early on i wasnt coping with the race -stopped 3 times and considered pulling out but made it to the end ...dissapointing time for me.

Baza Watch time, but dont think chip will be different. Good event, well organised , signposted and marshalled. 6th overall having led from 1K to 3.5K approx. Nothing left in the legs after my warm up - 45 minutes dressed as Jog Scotty...LMAO, it was fun...

Cutjap For some reason after this race I felt absolutely appauling. My lungs passed through a cheese grater at about 3k and I developed the symptoms of cholic by 4k. The finishing line then dealt me a dose of nausea followed by headaches and blurred vision. I've had less serious hangovers...

Hurry Up Harkins Ran without watch as SEH managed to get into first race rather than second, maybe try again as I did ok. Struggled at 3k hit the wall!!??? Can you do that in a 5k? Anyway picked it up from 4-5. Really enjoyed it. Anyone know the difference between the gun time and the chip time?

lazybrowndog First Race - time off the chip ... well pleased and really enjoyed the race. Started way way way back in the field and spent first ten mins weaving about passing folk - got a bit of a shock with the wee rise in the last K (hadn't recce'd the course beforehand) but still managed to kick hard and finish ok - reckon i can go under 20 mins! chuffed

LorraineS fourth year of doing this race - a favourite because of running through the Botanics :) Didn't like the new start to the race with the lap on the grass, it was like the opening of a jumble sale or the Sale at Jenners with elbows everywhere. It was nice though to be starting to get a wee bit faster again.

The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye Fantastic location for a 5K, but not PB material. A bit disappointed with time but probably due to wind and undualting ccourse. Only did this because unable to do Weedgie 5K but very tempted to return next year. Not many Fetch shirts in my race ( 6 o' clock) apart from Baza (I think who stormed off at the front ) Well done.
