Grey Badger 2nd time i've done this race,8.5 min better this year. Conditions poor, wet and windy. Went well for first 10 miles then hill and wind got me and i lost about a minute on the last 3 miles. Still beat my predicted time though so have to be happy.

EyeSpy21 First half-marathon. What a day! Torrential rain and wind on a hilly course. When race finished the sun was splitting the skies of course. Was running well, despite the water in my eyes and shoes. 01:01:00 at halfway point. Beat my 10 mile pb. Then lost it a bit on the last two miles - the mile 11 hill and tired legs. Had to ask a marshall if I was actually still moving! Still managed a (short) sprint finish though.
