Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Greenman Had a few beers the night before (Club 10 pin bowling) so wasn't sure how this would pan out. In the end I was probably feeling more relaxed than usual and felt like I was running well within myself so decided to push on after the hill at 9/10 miles and picked up quite a few places, particularly croosing the bridge for the second time. Well organised as usual and nice medal and decent t-shirt and thankfully nowhere near as hot as last year when I was a good 16 mins slower.

mikep My first half marathon - second time over the bridge as I had a training run at the Humber Bridge 10 K a couple of weeks ago.
The hill at 9 miles felt very long.
Met up with a great couple who set a tight 8 min/ mile pace to 11 miles and sent me on my way.
Really happy with my time.
Pity they can't do something about walkers/non runners on the outward run over the bridge-causes some nasty bottle necks.
