T'was windy which slowed me down, but today was never about time. It was about getting round without shedding a tear and enjoying myself and that I did. Smiled the whole way round and really enjoyed this one.

LambChop Pleased to PB but disappointed with the way I ran the race, set off too fast and died rapidly. Looking forward to September's 5km now. Not sure about the socks...

Rubberman First 5K, felt a bit swift. Didnt hear too much conversation on this one.
Last time i raced at Mallory i could do a lap in around 1m02s, so must be slacking.
Was on a Yamaha 250 last time though...

Lincsfella hinckley 5k. enjoyable but had problems running into the wind which was rather strong, managed a 5.50 first mile followed by a windy mile of 6.51 and a final one with a headwind finish of 6.21. the final 10th of a mile was 1.04. one day i'll break 20 minutes :o)

stoat Aim for PB as current time is for R$L which was awful! Took 3 minutes off R4L time so not bad considering wind. At least all those who bet on me had points saved!

mikeybabe500 quite amazed with my time off one weeks light training of 12 miles (4 times 3 miles slow)!! But this has given me a real push and I am now committed to losing weight and improving. Back in the day i was a low 14 minutes 5k'er but injury, women and booze soon put a stop to that. This race is my first step towards getting fit again and to something like a decent runner again. This website will really help me on my way back to fittness but it's going to take a while!!
