jolguk Obviously not the best time in the world, and I predictably lost my bet with Barrie from my club, but who cares, I was 3rd lady at last! I loved the race. Very conveniently local for me, and an interesting course, with just the right amount of undulations. I struggled a bit on the hill at 8k, but only because I was intent on overtaking someone. Fantastic organisation throughout, with the personalised numbers and emails, through the amazingly glamorous portaloos, down to the brilliant goody bags. Big thanks to the photographer, also for taking my photo, and another with all my clubmates. Nice to see Tony at the end, too.
