ChrisU Found this race fairly tough, having just arrived back from a 200km trail race in the French Alps late the night before. Set off steadily, sheltering from the headwind before moving through. Ran with Guiseppe for most of the first half before ramping things up a bit for the last 3 miles or so as I was chased down by 2 Calderglen runners.

JulesR First time under 90 minutes for about 10 years. Nice flat course and cool conditions. Started easily and worked through. Got to ChrisU at 11 but he moved away. Was rather ashamed to be tucked in behind a Calderglener for the last 2 miles into the wind, but was well behaved in the home straight and didn't kick.

shannon started off too easy (a bit early for the legs) but kept the pace steady and finished strong. pleased with time considering the effort was not great. really enjoy this race - good amount of runners, some gentle up and downs, nice views and a good finish area. a bit smelly though with the fish.
