Alun Coming back over for 2008 after missing 2007. Ran a PB in 2006 which I bettered by 6 seconds at Bluewater in 2007. Have a pair of Asics DS Racers in the post, hopefully I'll break 42 minutes this time.

ANDERS Ouch! I ran a 15 mile training run the day before and injured my knee. I was on for a new PB but there was no way I could do it, a real struggle in the second half and paying for it today... I love the NIKE speed/distance graph, my speed takes a dive half way along.

bigal Freezing wind,rain and hail showers added to the challenge this year,took a couple of mins off last years time so happy...was drinking guinness with stilts in preparation the night before :-) we did this race last year and got a suntan but no chance of that this year.

iceblue Enjoyed this race round Phoenix Park. Was at target pace for first three miles, but the gradual hills on the second half of the race slowed me down. Not as congested as I had thought. Garmin time was 50.58 but chip time was slower. Absolutely freezing with a hail shower halfway round!

stilts Bad weather, rain, wind and hail all in the same race!!! Hills were harder than I remembered from previous year (although drinking a few guinness the night before may hav contributed to that)
