Athlete In Progress Went off with a RH Team mate but was a little too quick for my fitness to hang on to. Speed was ok but maintaing that speed was the problem. At 3km breathing v.hard and at Water Station after the 5KM point decided to take water and walk for 1 min to compose myself again and run again. Overall quite happy and although not a PB time was a good run considering i've been struggling with injury problems and inconsistant training. Leaning forward motion helped me keep going over the horrible stony ground on the towpath and keeping me moving forward. Maybe would of been good to had started like that? :)

Foot & Mouth What a crap performance. Really kicking myself. Fist half was a head of plan, 7.15ish miles but I know the second would be slower because of the wind tunnel effect from the river but 7.50 minute miles. Where did my speed go. and to have to walk run the last mile.

Furrag A fantastic race, well organised, and I found the traffic was controlled very well. Very happy to run a new PB and join the sub-40 club. Apologies to the gent who finished 101 by 1 second, although in compensation he did win recognition in his age-category! The second half I found definitely slower. A slight headwind, but also less firm under-foot. 3:54 , 3:59, 3:56, 3:56, 3:56; 19:41 4:06, 4:06, 4:02, 4:01, 3:38; 19:53 ------- 39:34 Great value, and I shall certainly be running this race next year. Kudos to Elmbridge 10k for organising such an efficiently run event and to the 26.2 RRC for donating the finishing gantry.

martin K Elmbridge 10k is a good course but personally i am really pissed off with my self in regards to my timings but my coach Tracie has calmed me down alot because of what has taken place over the past week and that is HARD TRAINING.

MoscowFlyer Fantastic race, great course and good marshalling. Was aiming for 48 but ran a comfortable pace and managed to dip in under 45. Nice medal at the end to top it off. Elmbridge Road Runners have done themselves proud with this race.
