Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

clairevmc 3rd female so very pleased with that. Disappointed with my time as I know this course so well and had an outside hope of a PB. Started off well, 6.19, 6.19, 6.20 then missed mile 4 marker and by mile 5 had slowed and then I slowed a little bit more. Was able to pick up the pace from mile 10 as I often do and passed some people in the final mile. Held on for position once I knew the PB wasn't there but had no idea how far behind the 4th lady was so that kept me going. Stomach sore from mile 8 to the end and feet sore too. Well organised race as ever and nice to get a long-sleeved t-shirt and glass 10yr anniversary memento.

Girvan Ruth Was running great on first lap, but struggled from 10 miles and really struggled up the long hill. Never mind best time this year and i had to stop for toilet and walked a bit.

Ticketyboo Woohoo PB!!! As always a pretty well organised and enjoyable race although something has to be done about the walkers and their IPods. Going up the big hill on the 2nd lap it was easier to play chicken with the on-coming traffic than weave in and out the hundreds of lapped walkers oblivious to runners trying to pass. Farcical false start, the countdown started 5,4,3,2,1 what comes next usually GO... but not in EK, the Councillor starts his own countdown at 3, 2.. but everyone went on 3.
