Wheabs This sounds an interesting race and perfect preperation for Abingdon. UPDATE: Wonderful day for running across the Downs. My prediction was very accurate but I would have done better had I not had cramp from about mile 15!

Kew Ran this one with Mum and she managed 19 minutes quicker than last year!! This would be such a hard run to race, but running it with Mum was really enjoyable. I even braved sitting in a cold bath afterwards as I knew my legs were going to hurt.

Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB) That was a tough start straight to the top of the Downs, once I saw the bottleneck at the gate I walked. By the time I got to RichK and his camera there were very few people behind me. No-one passed me the rest of the way but I did manage to pass 3 other runners :-) A little bit of walking up that steep bit on the road but ran the rest. Legs benefitted from a massage in the bar afterwoards ;-)

Padams 2:15:51 last year, but they changed the route so likely to get lost! Result - didn't get lost at all! Ran most of it with Coronium and a clubmate, very enjoyable.
