-caz- Fingers crossed I survive Clydebank so I can give this race a try....lol

UPDATE - Well following the sh!t week I've had following my motorbike accident last Friday I managed to finish this one, although I did struggle from the Esso garage after only 2.5 miles

Now I need to ramp up my training over the next 6 days before I head back to work where I'll continue the gym work I've been doing. Then I intend to run early in the morning on holiday.

ChrisU My actual watch time was 34:35, which matched the chip time. Pleased to get another PB, and my second sub 35 minute 10K in a week.

kyt dehydrated and misjudged and breathless. congrats to yano on a blinding pb. loopy garmin readings for anyone else? 5k split of 19.47 proved a little too racy. lost motivation between 5 and 7 again.

Yano Missed Clydebank for non-running reasons ... still feeling positive for sub-40.
Post race - pleased with time, cheers kyt. Strange run, struggled with heat and pace through 5k (19.45) then somewhere between 6 and 7k found a good zone mentally and kept the pace going well. Even then didn't feel quite fast enough from 7-9. Just under 36 for 9 so a good strong finish. Misread my watch on finishing straight - thought it said 39.50 but must have been 38.50 - so stunned and pleased when I still saw 39 on the clock at finish line. First sub 40 at long last :) 109th out of 744.
