Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

davelord Too much alcohol on Saturday night meant this would be a tough one for me. first 3 miles just on target pace but i knew there were hills to come. Not disappointed and the scenery made the trip more than wort it

Fergus Good race, very picturesque and well organised with good changing/showers etc. Fairly flat for 5 miles - ran this bit at 10k pace (oops) then hilly for a few miles, then down and up - found this bit tough but happy with time really. No goody bag of any sort, just some juice - I do like a medal.

time still to be confirmed, Im very happy with this run felt very good at end and could have carried on for a 1/2 , nearly 3 mins slower than last year but heading in the right direction , managed to scrape past KS & NC.

kstuart I did this one last year with a bad calf in 1:48 so i'm lookiing at a time of 1:38 for this one which would be a new PB. Nive and steady first half and a comfortable climb over the hills lead to a worringly fast last few km leading to this almost 7 minute PB.

Pod My first ever race whilst a member of Swaledale. The Boy as always ran with me and encouraged me to keep going. It was more hilly than expected but the sceneary was tremendous. I was beaten in the last few hundred yards by someone I had managed to overtake . It won't happen again!!!!!

susietwoshoes This was the toughest one for me so far, but also THE most beautiful, the scenery was superb. The Autumn colours just gorgeous. Not so that hill at mile 5-6 it seemed never ending. Good downhill for about a mile and well blow me another hill, not quite like the last but I didnt expect it. Pleased with my time especially with the hills. Very friendly race, chatted to lots of people. Agree with Fergus, I would have liked a medal or small memento.
