Baza Lovely trail run, which doubled as one of my clubs counting races this year. Since I was the only senior present, their was no pressure on me for a good run, so I just enjoyed it instead. Weather was great, so was the spread afterwards, and the 3 or 4 pipers on route were great too. I'll be back next year..

Ticketyboo Really enjoyed the race today which is easily one of the best wee races on the calendar. Started steady and overtook several runners going up Laggan Hill, passed Chris U at 5k and just held on to finish 7th out of 250. Well done to Wildbill on a strong performance on his first race back after the accident.

katypie I love this race, has to be one of my very favourites in the calendar. Hard work but worth it. I am pleased that I made it up the hill with no stops. Took a fairly sensible approach on the descent and dead proud of my running partner who had a stonking run.

Beautiful, what running is al about. Off to see what my 2006 time was now. LOL

Wildbill Not been running particularly well. This will be my first race since Dumfries and the road accident. I think this wil be a reasonable time to complete this one in as it is a tough wee course.

ian9657 New race for me, mixed terrain so not one for a PB, more about enjoying the run me thinks. UPDATE: Great wee trail race...was warned that fist 3k was uphill, did the 1st km with fella Bella Maddie who thought we were running too fast, slowed a lot for 2nd km, probably mostly due to the steep climb though. After this it wasn't long before the course was narrow but either flat or downhill. Good steady run, struggles a bit with the 8th km but kept going and caught up with fella Bella Norman who pushed me all the way to the long, long finish line.

Ideal conditions led to Robert Gilroy, Ronhill Cambuslang, setting a new course record of 33.22 !!!
