Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ticketyboo New PB. Good course alongside the river. Out in 18:20 but legs turned to jelly on the way back returning in 19:04. Not one of the better value for money races with no bottles of water at the finish.

ClaireT Pleased with my time as I'm recovering from a chest infection and still on antibiotics. This was my 2nd fastest 10K , and 9s off Octobers PB. Went out fast and kept it steady for the first 7k hanging onto a group, then boosted on in the last 2 miles overtaking two ladies into 4th place. Nice wee prize bottle of wine for the effort!

LouLou Full of the cold, post- 7 12 hour night shifts (ok listing excuses now), only managed 3 hours sleep last night.... strong for first 2-3km then felt absolutely choked with cold and awful... really dissapointed with my running today...completely off usual race pace and should have done better. Moral of the story - I WILL run sub-40 10km when feeling well and should listen to my body not my head!!! Gutted.

IanS Legs still pretty tired after Ayr 10K on Wednesday so I was happy to take another minute or so off my PB. Good flat(ish) course and ran most of the way with a friendly group from Cambuslang until I faded in the last couple of km. 10K was well marshalled but the 3K fun run was a bit of a shambles - 3 of the ladies doing the 3K were directed by the marshals out along the 10K course!
