funkin Had been gearing up for this over the past few days and was pleased that the weather gods were looking down on me. Perfect weather for running. I didn't look at my watch once - just ran hard and hung on in a small group of three of us. Got myself a PB of just under 30 seconds on this course and a 5k PB full stop. Well pleased, especially when I know I could have run harder.

Kieren Was hoping for a sub-20 but didn't think it would happen as I was a bit gassy from McDonalds the night before - I was sure I'd get a stitch by the 1st km. With that in mind I went out slower than usual and held a constant pace. Struggled a bit towards then end but probably could have dug deeper. So happy at my first sub-20 of the year. Woo Hoo!
