artypete Was on for a MUCH faster race, but got a calf injury at 4 miles, had to stop for over a minute, and then slowed by around 15-20 secs a mile in a lot of pain, was probably on for a time of about 1.28-1.29 without the injury. Still managed to run 20 seconds faster than the (non-injured) Bristol half the week before!! :-)

tuck up Amazing run considering I hardly trained all week due to a pulled muscle in my right quad and then was in a lot of pain all through the race with the quad getting worse. Ended up coming 9th which was superb for me.
