Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Forest Runner I wasn't expecting that at all. After last week's dismal failure at London and the lack of training this year, I would actually have been reasonably happy with a 1:45. I haven't gone sub 1:35 for two years and I was thinking that I might be a bit optimistic to think that I would go sub 1:35 at Richmond in two weeks time, if I could possibly exceed expectations and get a 1:37/1:38 today. No way was I expecting a 1:34 and it actually felt very comfortable. Glorious day as well and now I'v forgotten all about London.

Fuzzy 2:01:57, a PB (just). But still didn't break the 2hr mark...
Found second half tough going, the heat and tired legs.
Thanks for all the bets/support fellow fetchers, kept me going for the PB.
Big thanks to Duncs for the lift.

GAZGIB Not my favourite course but it is my home town half so I'd better do it. 1:50 wil be taking me in the right direction but would still be miles away from a PB. RESULT - managed to keep inside my target time until about 8 miles and then I was suffering until the end.

Jonny Terrible run, worst ever performance. Have been suffering from a persistant headache for the last 2 weeks & have not run for 4 weeks. Started off ok, through 6 miles in 47 mins but by that time my calves were rather painful. Suffered cramp in my quads by the Hilton Hotel just short of 12 miles. Not sure now whether I will run the Prague Marathon in 2 weeks time.

shaper47 First time on this course. Died a bit between 10 and 11 miles. Tougher than Reading, and not a PB course.
