Lowbo Did this one a few years back - fast start through the streets and down out of the village before a long drag uphill. Seem to remember it finishing uphill as well. Great course, hoping to do well.

McGettingThere This will be my 3rd time - it's a pretty fast course but I don't think it'll be a PB. Reasonably happy if I manage Sub 40 again as the training has been a bit sporadic since Clumber. Went off a bit too quickly i think - through the first 3 miles in 17:35. Weather was cold, wet and Windy. Still v. happy to get under 40 again!!

Sammy Stag first race in ages, unfit and lack of training could lead too this kind of time. felt good, very windy and wet but really pleased with run

Cavey This will be my 3rd year at this. Hoping to PB, but i've only ever gone sub 50 at multiple lap courses, so we'll have to wait and see!**UPDATE** I'm going with watch time as the start was a farce. I heard the 'timer' started the clock at 10:30 on the assumption we had set off at 10:30, which we didn't!! So hate to think what my 'official' time will be!

Rosielad will be hoping for a slightly quicker time than my first 10k but not putting too much pressure on myself. Not sure what the hills will be like. ** UPDATE** Hills were there but the weather was on my side and sub 50 came. Something I did not think would. Great run on a hilly course. Great time meeting Cavey again. Laugh, its what its all about.

Jameaters Have recorded my own watch time - the start was as already posted a farce. My official time is c30 seconds over. Weather not good - very windy between 4 & 5 miles and the course had more hills than expected
