Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Debstir A week after Lochaber? Don't ask...

But hey, did better than I expected to! 56min prediction was before I knew about the HILLS right enough, so pretty chuffed. Legs didn't like the hills, foot didn't like the blister but at least the rain went off ;)

madbox My first ever 10k run with absolutely no training whatsoever........what a toughy to begin with but hey, I completed it in under an hour so chuffed to bits. The hills looked like the alps on occasion and if it wasn't for them I'm sure I could be far quicker.......perhaps anyway! This was a fab run, definately one to do again and let the training begin for many more. What a well organised event.

mowatb Ran my heart out today, just like last year the hill 7k in killed me off, however did a sub 45. Gave it everything, hopefully on a flat course I'll manage a sub 42 this year.

Great event, but after today I've decided I hate 10k races. Slow & staedy is the better option.

RunDMc Would secretly love to go under 47 mins. First KM went well - 4:40, but calf popped again. Managed to finish without walking but leg remained sore and doubtless will be for at least a week now. Such is life. Very well-organised event and top-quality ginger cake at the end helped ease the pain.
