Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Naomi P: Does it eventually go black too? Mine do that when it's really bad.
  • 30th Jan 2014 at 11:41am
fetcheveryone: Not black, no. It tingles for a while, but eventually the blood gets back in. Yesterday I found that running a mix of cool and warm water over it helped to open up the blood vessels.

Ellem: Raynauds is not pleasant - I've had it for years :-( you can get tablets which help a lot :-)

plodding hippo: Very common amgst runners. The tablet treatment can casue quite nasty flushing and a low blood pressure(was given it as a child for chillblains),You can get heated gloves, maybe you should do that

martin K: i did 35 mile bike ride in the Rain and got it both HANDS so don't worry

jennywren: I get that too. Even in the summer if there's a chillyish wind. Weird isn't it?
  • 31st Jan 2014 at 8:55am
Naomi P: It bloody hurts when the blood comes back in. I can get it indoors too. Keeping your core temperature higher helps me, better to sweat a bit more and not have painful useless hands, I find.
