Well training has been a big pants but I’ll get round. Will Jeff it and follow the 6 hour pacer. 8 mile run left to do then just keep the legs ticking over next week. IdrisTheDragon I’m planning to be at Hesslington to just walk r jog round on the Saturday.

I'm getting torn between doing Heslington next Saturday (as likelihood of people that I know in some way or other being there is very high) and going elsewhere to make sure I don't try and go too fast!

I've actually got a conference day over in Leeds on Saturday at 10am, so I'm thankfully not conflicted about what I shall do - nor be tempted to go too fast!

We are travelling on the Saturday so no parkrun for me either. Like 3M for the best as I would be sure to go too fast! I am a little bit better today 🤞

I was a bit concerned that as I haven’t run further than 10k for months that I wouldn’t be able to do 10 miles so went out for a long run this morning, taking in the downhill at the start of the race and the uphill near the end and discovered that I can still run 10 miles 😃 So now I can have a mini taper type thing
