Sounds like a good solution BBL, hope the old class goes OK but it sounds to me as though the new class is the way to go for Wanda.

I think there's something rather charming and dignified about the appearance of old dogs Cyclops. How old is Leah?

Lovely day at the beach today. We went to the animal friendly Berrow Sands, just south of Western Super Mare. Well equiped for dogs, lots of bins and water bowls. I've never seen so many horses though! We heard somebody chuntering about the Grand National... You drive onto the beach and I bet half the vehicles were horse trailers. Consequently I kept Charlie on his lead most of the time, after seeing another young pup run up to 3 horses and bother them despite his embarrassed owner trying to recall him!
Charlie was much better behaved in the cafe, his pub training this week has had an effect :-)

Leah is more staggering than dignified, AtC! She will be 11 in May (if she gets there :-( ) I bet it was chaos on that beach!!

Catching up with all the pages posted since I was last on here. And feeling a little sad that Leah is now grey and frail, but she is well loved.

I've been concentrating on some anti resource-guarding training with Jet recently which, together with some longer walks in areas where he can run a lot, has been quite succesful, but it means he is now glued to my lap in the evenings. It's hard to think that he's already almost four years old, and as delightful as I hoped he would be when we got him. Definitely worth the effort!

I've just had the joy of working tablets. Cookie accepted his in cheese. Phoebe was smarter and it had to be mixed in with the chicken breakfast.

Cheese worked for Daisy, our last dig, and does for Flossie. Lizzie, our first Lab, would appear to take the tablet in cheese but then we'd find it spat out in another room! :-)
