Well done Dave. We are just back from our latest training class so I am hoping for a nice quiet afternoon with a tired dog and only a short walk needed later

We also put 'microchipped' on Dobby's tag.

Great news, Dave. Good luck, D2!
We were away in the caravan for the long Easter weekend, in the caravan, with George. He was a complete delight all weekend! We were in and out of pubs and cafes, mooching around a very busy Stow-on-the-Wold in the rain, visited Cotswold Wildlife Park (he liked the meerkats best ;)), a six mile run in the sunshine and several shorter wet, muddy walks. I can't put his good behaviour down to any significant training - I reckon it's more a case of him growing up a bit (he's 4). It is good to be able to take him out and about without him being a problem.

Good to hear Dave! Equally, good to hear Sarah! We've been taking Charlie to the pub this week - it's a work in progress as he wants to be off saying hello to everyone rather than sitting nicely under the table...
We've a day out at the beach planned for tomorrow.

It's great that he's friendly and unphased though, Alice.

Charlie is very friendly to everybody and everything (except cats) - much better that than having him snarl at people/dogs for sure, I'd just like him to settle after he's greeted everyone! I'm sure it will come.

Wanda used to like to meet everyone in the pub too. I imagine more people welcome a cute puppy like Charlie though I didn't really approve of Wanda being 'allowed' to meet everyone or be walked all round the pub to 'have a look' being of the view she should come in and sit on her mat with a bone or hoof and if she wasn't prepared to do that then I was not going to tire first of the subsequent pulling at a short lead to have a look round. She is better about it now though... distractions (of the sort that can be chewed) do help considerably

We were saying just the same today BBL - must put a "chew" of some sort in my coat pocket for when we next call in! And you're certainly right about him getting away with stuff because he's a fluff bucket.
