Since owning Wanda, we have never had that problem My neighbour used coffee grounds on her lawn/plants but I have no idea if it worked.

I just let arlo out if its in the back garden (he will never catch the ones that goes in the back). It crawls across the fences between about 7/8 dogs and sets them all off but keeps doing it.
There's several that seem to go.round the front though and can't let arlo out there.

Finding the sense of responsibility a bit overwhelming today. I'm not going mad am I?

No GG not at all.
I found the adjustment and responsibility incredibly hard (made worse by lockdown at the time and living on my own). The toilet training is full on and they can be quite relentless.
I still feel amazed I’ve kept him alive so long (16 months old tomorrow) 😂 He’s much easier now though we still have some behaviour things to iron out.

Hard work but so worth it in the end. Just look at that little face!

Puppies are hard work. But the perseverance is totally worth it when you come out the other side (not that my boy has ever really grown up 😂). The advice in here was incredibly helpful and really helped get us through some of the tough times so ask lots of questions.
