I've never heard about Brewers yeast stopping dogs eating grass. Wanda eats loads of grass - I tend to keep her muzzled on walks now in places where I wouldn't normally leave the muzzle on just because she eats so much grass otherwise and then has trouble passing it. I shall go and do some reading up on that now. Glad to hear the behaviourist could see the progress though, you have been working so hard with him.

It was Flossie's 9th birthday yesterday :-0 so possibly also Jess's? I feel rather sad because Floss is definitely moving into 'elder dog' years now (our previous Labs lived to 12 and 15, but the last few years of Daisy's 15 were very much in the 'looking after an elderly relative' vein. I shouldn't be so morbid. She's quite perky, in a slightly dotty 'old dog' way :-) The leg op has certainly rejuvenated her in terms of playing with other dogs, anyway.

Happy birthday Flossie and also Jess. Wanda will be 9 in October (we think - we don't know exactly but that's when we have deemed her birthday to be). She is also moving into elder dog years although we still get rare glimpses of behaving like she is two!

Cookie is 9 1/2 and Phoebe 8 1/2. They slowed down and enjoy a good doze nowadays. But we occasionally see their energetic sides.
One thing that’s slowed them down is Phoebe having a leg injury and subsequent hydrotherapy, plus an under active thyroid. We had to slow them down and reduce what they were doing. It’s taking a long time to regain previous fitness levels.

Another night at the out of hours emergency vet. The entire spread for our housewarming/trail run do on bank holiday monday.....cakes, chocolate, biscuits, packets of dried fruit - all things individually wrapped for as much covid safety and avoiding a buffet situation as possible. All eaten including lots of the wrappers. Thankfully the large multi bags of crisps were ignored. The emergency vet thought it was hilarious when we showed him the list of what we believed had been eaten.......

Blimey Wanda! I’m sorry but I couldn’t help a little smirk at that. I’m assuming lovely Wanda is OK…

That’s quite impressive work Wanda. Ernie applauds you (can dogs applaud?).
