Collar & tag is a legal requirement & harnesses will rub if left on too long.

Anyone got any tips for putting eye drops in? Arlo really doesn't like it and we have another 5 days of them to do as his eyes are irritated. (2 weeks after his conjunctivitis cleared up). Its getting harder and harder to get them in.

Sorry no advice/experience there Roberto. Sounds tricky.
I’m making some good progress with crate training. He slept in the closed crate last night. I managed to put him down for a couple of enforced naps in the crate today. He cried a bit, then grumbled. The Kong helps too. He finally settled. And then I could make lunch. And I got a shower this morning.
We went to pets at home this morning so experience of the car, people and a shop (friend helped).

Brilliant news. Good stuff PenW. An enforced nap works wonders for when they get a bit bitey or zoomy. Amazing what a short nap does! Keep it up!!

We had a success on Boots’s walk this morning: came almost nose to nose with another dog and DIDN’T REACT! No snarling, barking or turning somersaults on his lead! He was very interested in the dog, kept looking over his shoulder as it followed us, particularly when it barked at Boots, but he showed no aggression or real fear.
On the way home he saw another dog that always winds him up and again, interested but no real reaction.
Last night, when I was out alone with him, there two encounters where he reacted and one where I was able to guide him around the dogs (on the other side of the road) without him going nuts.
I’m so pleased. I think it’s the YuCalm rather than anything we’re doing tho, because our approach hasn’t changed in the past month.

Progress Wobbling.
I had another reminder yesterday that Ernie really isn't as badly trained as I think. We have a regular walk that goes along an old railway line and back. Recently we've had to do a very short loop that starts on the railway but cuts back into the village. Yesterday he stopped at the little path for the loop to check whether we were doing the loop or the out/back. He also always stops to check before nipping down a wee path that takes us to the beach - despite absolutely loving going that way. It made me realise that anything we do repeatedly he will learn - I just need to make sure we do the right things repeatedly.
