Gosh that dog must take some keeping cool in hot weather!

Lovely story, well done Indi :-)

Floss is going to the emergency vet at 2:30. Fine this morning, very happy on a walk with OH, but is now dribbling and drooling like a leaking tap :-( There is clearly something wrong which is not going away by itself and we don't want to 'watch and wait' any longer. .

Far back molar on left, the gum is inflamed, possibly from a stick but there's apparently a lot of plaque on that tooth too - though the rest of her teeth are good. Dentastiks etc have kept her teeth ok but she has clearly not been chewing on that side for quite a while, for whatever reason. She'll need a GA to descale the tooth and depending on how the gum is may lose the tooth. I had looked in her mouth several times but obviously didn't look far enough back :-( Anyway, some anti-b's and anti-inflammatories for now and I need to book her in for the descaling of the tooth this week. I'm just relieved it's nothing worse.

Must be good to know what the problem is, LD. I expect the meds will soon have her feeling brighter :)

That's a result, LD. I've had infected teeth in the past that have made me feel light headed and really quite ill. All those bacteria and blood vessels. :-o
