What a good boy Indi is. Luckily rabbits don't come into our garden but that would be unlikely to be the situation if they did!!!!

We used to have a rabbit in our garden last year (I think it was the Christopher Columbus of rabbits, exploring new worlds ;-)). Flossie would see it, charge out of the house making a big fuss so Bunny ran sideways into the flower beds while she ran straight past it down to the bottom of the garden; she would then saunter back up the garden, follow her nose into the same area of flowerbed but make no attempt to root through to the actual rabbit
If we see rabbits on our walk, she'll lollop after them half-heartedly but she'd rather follow their scent, slowly

Cleo (Whippet) doesn't get off the lead when there are rabbits around!

Think I've mentioned this before, Jess will chase anything ....until it disappears into the undergrowth. The only exception she makes for the thus far and no further rule is if she catches scent of half a loaf or a bag of chips chucked into the bushes/rubbish tip/ underneath a car.

Indi loves to chase but clearly has no idea what to do if he catches up with whatever it was, unless its his ball obvs!

and Ralph is, unfortunately, rabbit catcher and dispatcher supreme *blush*
he also catches and kills rats, forgets that he can't climb trees after squirrels and is on the lead anywhere past gardens with cats ---- but has learnt not to go for hedgehogs

I was going to ask if anyone else has the c*t problem we do. They drive Jess INSANE. We both tried to desensitize her to them (grammar?) when she was young, but to no avail.

Yes, cats are a big problem for George. He does get a bit perplexed if they don't run though.

Oh yes, Flossie can saunter past squirrels, run past rabbits, but CATS Even the merest hint of a feline crossing the garden even down at the far end gets her virtually throwing herself at the French windows to get out. There was a most unfortunate time on our way home from a walk when (on-lead) she spotted a cat and I didn't. I ended up being pulled into a bush when I didn't let go of the lead fast enough

If the cat doesn't run, she swears under her breath and pretends it's not there though
