Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Called dog warden - ours is off sick so someone from a different area. They can only investigate the most recent incident as some go back months. Even though he didn't make contact the last time, he was behaving in an aggressive manner and caused distress and that is enough. They have said that if she has been told to have the dog on a lead then they will have to take some sort of action. They can't tell me what the outcome is though. Calling back with address today as I wasn't sure of the house number.

I was involved in a collision with I thought a fox, but given the damage it may have been a muntjac deer, the other night so my car is now at the garage and I have a courtesy car. It is a very small and basic car, and the only way to get Wanda in it is to fold the back seats down.

I'm sure it's not the most comfortable ride for her, but we have dog school later which is some distance away so I've just taken her out to the next village for her walk and back to see how she gets on.

She didn't enjoy travelling in my last car, a Polo and this one is even smaller, boxier and less comfortable. On arrival at home she was sick, which doesn't bode well for the trip to dog school - may have to try to get there early I think......

Back in the UK, and good to see news of SE's dog, and Wanda, and the re-planted rose bush :-)

HP - that JRT owner needs a wake-up call. Before anyone gets hurt.

I had a dog incident this morning with a known offender. The dog is aged and the owner is a much older man, but the potential for damage remains huge.

I don't want to harm his dog, but will do what I need to do if it looks like harming Jet. (I saw a video that suggests lifting the dogs back legs - not sure if it would work, but...)

I've just posted a suggestion on your blog that might help the owner but I recommended a facebook group and (sweeping generalisation here) if he is an older person he may not use Facebook :-o

I forgot to mention in my Naughty Dog School blog, that one of the GSD owners asked me during our class today whether I give Wanda a really long walk before I bring her to class - because she is so well-behaved!! :-o I didn't ask if that's what they do.

We were also told today that while we are doing this training we mustn't let people come up and pet our dogs while out on walks. I replied to the trainer that as the owner of a Staffie I am practically never asked if people can!!!!
