Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I found plenty of Common Orchids on my run this morning (though not as many as I was expecting, I think they are a bit late this year) but after a bit of searching I found what I was looking for, a Bee Orchid :-)

Nice LazyDaisy I'd love to see some of those.

Until then, these little beauties have made my day! These were probably not the best ones tbh and there were loads of 'em!

Found some orchids in the no-mow or 'wild' area of my garden yesterday. I swear they weren't there the day before!

I found this growing in our lawn, Blackening Waxcap I believe. Never seen one before, although they appear to be common. Yellow stalk and black/yellow cap. Also called Witches Hat.

Come on 2021, see if you can match last year for wildflowers and blossom.
