Jenelopy, I am also choosing new appliances for my kitchen at the moment so I've subscribed to Which for a month to see their reviews. They don't have reviews of any of the 3 models you have listed but generally Bosch are rated better than Samsung and Beko

I think Bosch/Siemens/Neff are all different brands of the same company? We have had Siemens ovens and induction hob for the last 10 years with no issues.

You are right StuH - add in Gaggenau as well.
I'd swerve the Beko personally - but any from the BSH Group I'd probably be happy with.

My Bosch fridge freezer is nearly ready to bite the dust...then again, it is about 18 years old. Its frost free capability has been lost and I need to scrape ice out of the bottom of it. There must be something causing water/condensation to pool/freeze down there.

Thanks for the advice. After reading this, we removed the beko and samsung from the list and went to buy the bosch one. After talking to the salesperson (who said that samsung don't make reliable ovens, their fridges are great but not the ovens) we ended up with a smeg hob - very reduced as it was end of line, so a smidge cheaper than the bosch one..

um 🎄
[ Garfield - has the fridge got a drainage hole at the back, near the bottom? Normally into an open water tray on the back.

Without going into too many details, they can get clogged. Clearing it, with, eg a wooden skewer (from inside to outside) may stop (or reduce) the condensation/ice. Don't look too closely at the gunge though - that may trigger a new fridge straight away.

I just googled it, and you can even buy special tools to clean it! But a skewer or inside of a biro will do the job for free ]

Thanks um, I'll have a look at that tomorrow. It happened rather suddenly, so that may give it a new lease on life!
