Looking at the parkrun map there appears to be a exclusion zone around Ashbourne where there are no parkruns! I know there was a plan to set a parkrun up in Ashbourne pre-pandemic - looks like it hasn't yet happened (unless it's their inaugural event this weekend! ) The nearest is Markeaton, towards Derby - does anyone have any strong views or other recommendations please? (I'd rather not crawl out of bed too early!) I found this whilst googling - which maybe ought to be on the "Things that grind your gears" forum for its randomised use of Park run, park run, before finally in the last paragraph, getting to parkrun! (Oh, and the picture of cyclists and a jogger enjoying Shipley park. The "Jogger" leaning on the fence!) greatbritishlife.co.uk
