A box with programmes from every show, concert and play my dad went to since about 1953 with his handwritten list giving a brief review of some of them.
How about "National Band of New Zealand, 7th June 1953 (City of Leicester Coronation Celebrations). Gardens."
I've just realised that the dates have a big gap from when they bought the house through to when I was about 14, then they start again. I guess they couldn't afford the extravagance with a mortgage to pay then didn't have the time with 2 kids to look after.

Nellers what a lovely insight into his life. Interesting about the gap. I guess we can all relate to that.

After 11 and a half years of manually uploading my training on an almost daily basis, I used my new Garmin Connect account to auto load today's run. MAGIC.
This made me smile. ๐

Someone asking me to run a workshop and offering to pay me actual real money for doing so (not usually a thing in academia, youโre usually expected to do it for glory)

Spotting a friendly Fetchie running in Leicester as I was driving home from a visit to my mum up there. I waved. Becca7 doesn't know my car so didn't wave back.
